Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of Sonant ("Sonant", "we", "us"), an online service that uses automated audio processing to mix and master music you upload. By creating an account or using the service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

1. The service

Sonant lets you upload an audio file and receive an automatically mixed and mastered version. Processing is performed by automated software ("AI"); results vary by source material and are provided on an "as is" basis. Sonant is a software service, not a substitute for a human engineer where one is required.

2. Eligibility & accounts

You must be at least 18 years old (or the age of majority where you live) and able to enter a binding contract. You are responsible for the activity under your account and for keeping your API key and login credentials secure. One account per person unless we agree otherwise.

3. Plans, credits & billing

• Sonant is offered as a monthly subscription. Each plan grants a set number of song credits per billing cycle. One processed song consumes one credit.
• Credits renew every month on your billing date. Unused credits expire approximately two (2) months after they are granted, so credits do not accumulate indefinitely.
• Plans and prices are shown on our pricing section and may change with notice for future billing cycles.
• Payments are processed by Paddle.com Market Ltd, which acts as the Merchant of Record (reseller) for all purchases. Your purchase is therefore subject to Paddle's Buyer Terms. Paddle collects payment and remits applicable taxes.

4. Cancellation & refunds

You may cancel your subscription at any time; cancellation stops future renewals and you keep access to any remaining valid credits until they expire. Refunds are handled in line with our Refund & Cancellation Policy and Paddle's buyer terms.

5. Your content & rights

• You retain all ownership of the audio you upload and of the processed output you download.
• You confirm you own or have the necessary rights to every file you upload, and that processing it does not infringe anyone's copyright or other rights.
• You grant Sonant a limited licence to store and process your files solely to provide the service to you. We do not sell your music or use it to train models without your explicit consent.

6. Acceptable use

You agree not to upload unlawful content, content you have no rights to, or material that is infringing, and not to misuse, overload, reverse-engineer, or attempt to disrupt the service. We may suspend accounts that violate these Terms.

7. Disclaimers & liability

The service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Sonant is not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential damages, and our total liability is limited to the amount you paid in the three months before the claim. You are responsible for keeping your own backups of your original files.

8. Changes & termination

We may update these Terms; material changes take effect for future use of the service. We may suspend or end the service, or your access to it, for violations of these Terms or where required by law.

9. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Türkiye, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Nothing here limits any mandatory consumer rights you have where you live.
